Theoretical and Practical Electromagnetic Compatibility: Lightning and Waves

Description

This course is intended for anybody interested in the theoretical and practical aspects of EMC at an advanced level. The course requires knowledge of electricity and electromagnetism at the bachelor's level technical physics or electrical engineering. The course will be divided in two parts the theoretical background and Laboratory Exercises.

During the generation, transmission and reception of electromagnetic energy it may cause unintentional interference in other systems. The Digital Systems of very high integration (Very Large Scale Integrated Electronics VLSI) may the Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) a high threat for the electronic equipment. Then low overvoltages and energies are high enough for producing malfunction and damages.
